NILAI – Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) received 2,400 registered new students for the 2023/2024 academic year from October 3, 2023, to October 7, 2023.

USIM’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ts. Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin Md. Shaarani, stated that out of this number, 1,557 were female students, and 843 were male students.

“All 2,400 students completed their online university registration, which began on September 25, 2023, followed by residential college registration on October 3-4, 2023, and recently completed their Taaruf Program on October 7.”

According to him, the Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies (FPQS) received the highest number of students, with a total of 408, followed by the Faculty of Major Language Studies (FPBU), which welcomed 400 new students.

“On behalf of the university management, we welcome the new students to USIM. Hopefully, the experiences gained during their four years at USIM will not only enhance their knowledge but also help them develop their character, self-identity, and intellectual abilities, which are the aspirations of our nation and country,” he said.
